CLEAR EVIDENCE. CLEAR LABELS.

Know what you are reading.

Product descriptions, editorial selections, and user reviews serve different purposes.

Product profiles

Profiles summarize linked vendor sources, show when the information was checked, and identify unavailable details. They are not independent benchmarks or certifications. Pricing and capabilities must be confirmed with the vendor.

Buying guides

Guides explain how to run an evaluation using defined workflows and evidence. Example scenarios are suggestions, not reported customer outcomes. Sources and the editorial method appear with each guide. Corrections can be submitted through the contact form.

Reviews and moderation

Reviewers must log in, choose a reviewer account, complete their name, job title, role, company, account email, and phone, and disclose their relationship to the product. Accounts are authenticated; phone ownership, employment details, purchases, and product usage are not independently verified. Email and phone stay private. These checks and moderation improve accountability, but cannot guarantee that every review is genuine. Each account has one review per product; editing it returns it to moderation.

Reviews require a rating, specific experience, positive observations, and limitations. Administrators can approve, reject, request changes, or archive contributions. A rejection or change request requires a reason. Administrators cannot approve their own reviews. Moderation should address relevance, authenticity, privacy, and abuse, not suppress reasonable criticism.

How the top 3 are selected

The administrator selects a rolling window from 1 to 365 days. The default is 7 days. In editorial mode, up to three administrator-selected products are labeled as editorial picks. Their order is a feature order, not a performance score. The selection expires after the configured window unless renewed.

Community mode uses approved reviews published or updated during the rolling window. Products are ordered by average rating, then review count, then name. Only products with at least one qualifying review appear. When an editorial selection expires, the same community calculation is used. A shortlist can contain fewer than three products when there is insufficient evidence.

Commercial relationships

Sponsored listings must be labeled. Reviewers must disclose vendor, employee, partner, or consulting relationships. Editorial features do not establish that one product outperforms another. The administrator is responsible for recording and maintaining relevant listing disclosures.

Report a problem

Use the report link on a product page to flag inaccurate details, inappropriate material, or a questionable review. Include the product and enough context for an administrator to investigate.
